Shyne sentenced

Convicted of assault, rapper Jamaal “Shyne” Barrow was sentenced to 10 years in prison for his part in an incident that left three people wounded. The same jury that acquitted Sean “Puffy” Combs and his bodyguard Anthony Jones convicted Shyne in the same incident, Reuters reports. Barrow admits that he did fire a gun, but maintains that it was in self-defense. Combs called the sentence “unfair.” One victim, who was shot in the head, is suing Barrow for $150 million.
