Spielberg recovering after accident

Director Steven Spielberg (A.I., E.T.) is recovering at his home in the Hamptons in New York after twisting his knee in a scooter accident last week, his spokesman Marvin Levy revealed to the press on Friday.

Spielberg, 54, tumbled off the scooter a few days after Thanksgiving and currently sports a leg brace to help heal his injury. Surgery will not be needed.

According to Levy, the Oscar-winning director is now resuming post-production on the upcoming Tom Cruise sci-fi flick Minority Report.
