On Sunday, her husband lost a big basketball game. Today, she helped him win the Real Big One. Grammy-nominated singer/actress Vanessa L. Williams (“The Colors of the Wind”) gave birth to baby daughter Sasha Gabriella in New York City, it has been reported. Husband Rick Fox of the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers was there for the assist.
Williams, 37, and Fox, 30, wed in September. She has three children by a previous marriage; he has one from a previous girlfriend. Sasha is their first child together.
For hoops fans, it’s unknown whether Fox will miss Tuesday’s Lakers playoff game in Los Angeles due to the baby thing.
