HOLLYWOOD, Feb. 21, 2001 – Liv Tyler is engaged to her rock-and-roll beau, Royston Langdon, lead singer and bass player for the group Spacehog.
The 23-year-old actress reportedly accepted a Valentine’s Day proposal from the musician whom she has been dating for over two years. Tyler met the rocker in 1998 after ending her relationship with recent Oscar nominee Joaquin Phoenix, her co-star in “That Thing You Do.”
Tyler, 23, is the daughter of Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler and former model Bebe Buell, who had an eight-month romance with the Boston rocker while she was still living with musician Todd Rundgren in the ’70s.
Tyler began her career as a model and quickly evolved to the big screen just films such as “Armageddon,” “Stealing Beauty” and “One Night at McCool’s.”
