Miley Cyrus just announced her new visual album, “Something Beautiful,” dropping on May 30.
While Miley Cyrus hasn’t shared much about the new project just yet, she did confirm that her ninth studio album will include 13 original tracks. Co-produced by Cyrus and Grammy-winning producer Shawn Everett—known for his work with Kacey Musgraves and Alabama Shakes—the album promises a unique sonic experience. Cyrus also unveiled the striking cover art, a high-fashion shot by Glen Luchford featuring her in a vintage 1997 Thierry Mugler couture look. Fans can already preorder the album, which will be available in multiple formats, including signed vinyl, CDs, limited-edition vinyl, and two collector’s box sets packed with exclusive goodies.

Miley Cryus, ‘Something Beautiful’: What To Expect
Something Beautiful will be Miley Cyrus’ first studio release since Endless Summer Vacation dropped in 2023, which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. That album featured the smash hit “Flowers,” which spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned Cyrus her first-ever Grammy wins in 2024, taking home Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.
Cyrus, known for hits like “Wrecking Ball,” has previously hinted that the new project will serve as a visual album, inspired by Pink Floyd’s The Wall—but, as she told Harper’s Bazaar, with a twist: “better wardrobe and more glamorous and filled with pop culture.”
“I have this heart-first attachment to it,” she shared at the time. “The visual component of [my album] is driving the sound. It was important for me that every song has these healing sound properties. The songs, whether they’re about destruction or heartbreak or death, they’re presented in a way that is beautiful, because the nastiest times of our life do have a point of beauty.”
With Something Beautiful, Cyrus appears poised to deliver her most personal and visually ambitious project yet, blending emotional storytelling with bold pop artistry.
