Production on the Ready or Not sequel officially kicks off today, Monday, April 21. Searchlight Pictures has also revealed fresh details about the follow-up to the surprise 2019 box office hit.
Leading the cast once again is Samara Weaving, joined by an impressive lineup: Kathryn Newton (Abigail), Sarah Michelle Gellar (Dexter: Original Sin), Néstor Carbonell (Shōgun) Shawn Hatosy (The Pitt), Elijah Wood (Yellowjackets), and horror legend David Cronenberg.
Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett return to direct for Searchlight Pictures, with the screenplay by original writers Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy.

While specifics are still under wraps, Radio Silence has confirmed Samara Weaving’s return for the sequel. Story details remain a mystery, and no production timeline has been announced.
In Ready or Not: Here I Come, the story could follow Grace (Samara Weaving) as she’s pulled back into the chaos when a hidden branch of the Le Domas family revives the deadly ritual—or it could shift to a new bride (Kathryn Newton) marrying into a tech-wealthy Le Domas descendant, reigniting the curse. In both cases, Grace may return as a reluctant hero, facing an evolved and even deadlier version of the twisted tradition.
