Eminem receives joint custody of child

Now in the midst of divorcing, rapper Eminem, 28, and estranged wife Kimbery A. Mathers, 26, have agreed to joint custody of their 5-year-old daughter Hailie Jade. The Macomb (Mich.) County Friend of the Court agency has recommended that Eminem pay $142,480 a year in child support, shell out $156 per week toward health insurance, and assume 90 percent of any child-care costs, the Macomb Daily reports. The couple has decided that the rapper will keep their $450,000 Clinton Township home, though Kim will receive a similar amount of money to purchase a new home. In other news, Eminem has teamed up with controversial artist Marilyn Manson to record a rock version of the rapper’s “The Way I Am,” from The Marshall Mathers LP. According to VH1, the song has already been recorded, but no release date has been set.
