First came love, then came marriage. Now Jerry Seinfeld is pushing a baby carriage.
The comedian’s wife, Jessica Skylar, 29, gave birth Tuesday to the couple’s first offspring, daughter Sascha, Reuters reports. Seinfeld‘s publicist wouldn’t provide anymore information regarding the little tyke, only saying that mother and baby are doing fine.
Seinfeld is best known for portraying the forever bachelor during the nine-year run of his hit NBC show “Seinfeld.” The news of his new daughter comes after a much publicized gossip frenzy over the couple’s courtship.
Seinfeld, 46, met his wife at a New York gym soon after she had returned from her honeymoon with her first husband, Broadway heir Eric Nederlander. The newlyweds divorced soon after. Seinfeld courted her for 16 months, and they were married Dec. 25, 1999.
