Actor Greg Kinnear and wife Helen Labdon lost the baby they were expecting this summer, a spokeswoman for the couple told USA Today on Wednesday. Labdon, 31, miscarried almost one month ago when she was about five months pregnant, the rep said. “The couple is deeply saddened by the loss and have been greatly comforted by the thoughts and prayers of so many,” the rep said. This would have been their first child. Kinnear, 37, is currently shooting a Vietnam movie with Mel Gibson, We Were Soldiers Once — And Young. He will next appear in the HBO adaptation of the recent Pulitzer Prize-winning Off-Broadway comedy-drama, Dinner With Friends, scheduled to air in August.
