New mom and reported future bride Madonna may have left America for the safety and comfort of jolly old England, but now the superstar might be having second thoughts.
According to Madonna’s spokeswoman, Liz Rosenberg, thieves broke into Madonna’s new home in the Notting Hill area of London on early Friday morning, and upon finding car keys, stole a Range Rover. Rosenberg gave no further details.
However, British newspapers reported in their Saturday editions that Madonna, 42, her two children and her boyfriend Guy Ritchie, 32, were asleep upstairs while the burglary was carried out at their home.
The Range Rover, belonging to Ritchie, was later found in West London, and a number of other items were stolen, according to police reports.
The Queen of Music has said in recent months that she prefers living in London to Los Angeles because she felt safer in the British capital.
The burglary in Madonna‘s home comes on the heels of a burglary in the Phoenix home of Alice Cooper and an attack on “Just Shoot Me” actor David Spade in his Beverly Hills, Calif., home earlier in the week.
