No more WTC crash scenes on ABC

ABC News President David Westin has issued a directive banning any further use of video showing the hijacked airliners crashing into the World Trade Center last week or the collapse of the twin towers. An ABC spokeswoman said, “The repeated, on-going use of the video is not appropriate. We advised producers that if they view the use of the video to be critical to the editorial integrity of a news report, we can have a very high-level editorial conversation and review it on a case-by-case basis.”
