Denzel Washington (John Q), who has a good chance to get an Oscar nod Tuesday morning for Training Day, on why he wants an early call, to USA Today:
“I think Tuesday is tougher than who wins or not. Once you’re in the race it’s all kind of gravy until they call somebody else’s name and that camera is right there.
“If I wake up and it’s 6 o’ clock and nobody’s called I know I’m in trouble.”
