If you want to be a Hollywood star these days, it seems all you’ve gotta do is first become a multimillion-selling rapper. First there was Sisqo’s Pepsi commercials and TV deal, and now Nelly will costar in an upcoming film called “Snipes,” playing (of course) a hip-hop artist called Prolifik who gets kidnapped.
Nelly’s debut CD, “Country Grammer,” has been No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart for five consecutive weeks.
COSTNER, CALL YOUR CAREER COUNSELOR: With his acting career apparently stuck in neutral, Kevin Costner has signed up to star in “Dragonfly,” a thriller in “The Sixth Sense” and “What Lies Beneath” vein about a doctor whose dead wife torments him from beyond the grave. Yawn.
