Even soap stars have a hard time staying clean.
Michael Nader, a familiar face on ABC’s “All My Children” for the past 10 years, was arrested for allegedly selling a $20 bag of cocaine to an undercover police officer in a New York nightclub on Saturday.
According to police, Nader was one of five people arrested at the East Village’s Barber Shop Club. He was taken to the hospital for treatment for an unspecified illness following the arrest.
This is not the first time the soap star has gotten his hands dirty. In August 1997, the 56-year-old actor was also arrested after a brawl with Long Island police officers who had pulled him over for allegedly driving drunk with his 13-year-old daughter in the car.
Nader rose to fame on the long-running television series “Dynasty” as Joan Collins’ love Farnsworth “Dex” Dexter. In 1991, he joined the daytime soap “All My Children” as Count Dimitri Mack.
Nader’s representatives were not available for comment on these charges.
