Spying Eddie Murphy

Eddie Murphy has gone from playing doctor to playing spy.

The Hollywood Reporter says today that the “Dr. Dolittle” star and the film’s director, Betty Thomas, might reunite in the comedy “I Spy,” based loosely on the NBC tube series back in the ’60s.

No start date has been scheduled for the flick, and shooting is unlikely to go on before the possible actors strike.
