Summer brings memories of drive-ins

Giant corporate sponsors, community activists, and local arts institutions have revived outdoor movies in New York, providing at least one free movie a week to people in parks, on rooftops and along New York riverbanks, the New York Times reported Monday. Offering a mix of cult films and classics, such open-air screenings are also popping up in other parts of the country, the Times observed.
