“M:I-2” actress Thandie Newton gave birth to a baby girl Sunday at her London home. Newton, 27, and her husband, “An Ideal Husband” helmer Oliver Parker, opted for home birth due to her high tolerance for pain (oh, baby!) and the horror stories she had heard about anesthetics during labor.
The couple named their girl Ripley, USA Today reports.
In other baby news, “Coyote Ugly” and “Duets” actress Maria Bello, 33, is preggers, according to the New York Daily News. Bello and boyfriend Dan McDermott, head of DreamWorks’ television department, will welcome the child into the world in February.
