Ving Rhames goes “Undercover”

Actor Ving Rhames has signed a deal to star in three episodes of NBC’s action drama UC: Undercover, Variety reports, making him the first of several big-name guests slated to appear on the show. Rhames will play the role of drug lord Quito Real in his episodes, which will air during the November sweeps. Steven Bauer (Traffic) has agreed to star in six episodes, and Angie Everhart and Oded Fehr (The Mummy Returns) have signed on as well. The show’s producer Shane Salerno also hopes to get pop culture icons, including musical performers, to guest star. Salerno has also enlisted composer David Arnold (Independence Day) to score the show’s title theme, a remix version which will likely be released to radio stations.
