A Hot Guy Will Be on Arrow Full-Time: Wait, WHAT?! The CW is upping a guy who looks good shirtless from recurring to regular status? This is unprecedented. Err, and by that we mean totally expected, but we love both Arrow and Colton Haynes on it, so we’re cool with it. Haynes, who plays Thea’s new love interest Roy Harper, will join Emily Bett Rickards as a full-timer for Season 2. [Via Release]
Vinny Guadagnino Lives On: Jersey Shore may be dead and gone, but MTV has announced that The Show With Vinny — a talk show that will have “big celebs” visiting Vinny’s Staten Island home — will premiere on Thurs, May 2nd. Guadagnino, who was on all six seasons of Shore, is primarily known for sleeping with Snooki, suffering with anxiety, and having a big penis. [TVLine]
More Amy Poehler: We could probably stop there, because that should be enough to make your day. Poehler is “just” a producer on this one, but we’re psyched to see that Comedy Central has given a 10-episode series order to Broad City, an adaptation of Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer’s digital series. Jacobson and Glazer are UCB alums (like Poehler), and their show will focus on two friends in NYC navigating “the minutiae that is life.” [Deadline]
Dermot Mulroney Heads to DC: Dermot Mulroney has been tapped to star in Rand Ravich’s new NBC drama pilot, described as an “emotionally charged action thriller” set in DC. The pilot will focus on a bus full o’ kids (including the President’s son) that gets kidnapped on Marcus Finley’s (Lance Gross) first day as a Secret Service agent. Mulroney will play Bill Gibson, a chaperone. Uggggh school trips, emiright? [Deadline]
