Thursdays will never be the same with #TGIT, ABC’s brilliant line-up of drama-filled shows. These three hours of nail-biting and heart-stirring plots are enough to fill several movies! If you miss just five minutes of the shows, you could miss a major plot twist or epic moment. Therefore, we’ve decided to break it down to the top 10 most noteworthy moments of the episode. Grey’s Anatomy
1. Jackson and April talk about what’s wrong with their baby.
2. Jackson says if it’s bad they should terminate, but April says no way.
3. Owen and Callie see sales rep at the bar.
4. Sales rep turns out to be gay and flirts with Callie (to no avail).
5. Meredith admits her loneliness.
6. Maggie says she broke up with someone because she can’t share her bed.
7. Stephanie finally understands what Amelia was trying to teach her.
8. Surgery on massive heart tumor goes well.
9. Owen goes back to him and Christina’s spot.
10. April and Jackson get test results back, and the previews for next week don’t look like the result is good…
Scandal
1. President Fitzgerald finds out people are watching and listening to him.
2. Olivia is forced to read cards telling Fitz to go to war or let her die. She asks for a glass of water and lifts it so that her team can see her captor in the reflection.
3. Fitz tells Mellie what’s going on.
4. Huck puts together the reflection image, but has a difficult time identifying him.
5. Huck threatens Lizzie and her daughter in hopes she’ll give him information about Olivia.
6. Fitz fills in a very confused Cyrus .
7. They realize Olivia’s captors were setting up camp and watching her from her neighbor’s room who is now “missing” according to a friend who keeps coming into the office asking for “the black lady”.
8. Mellie steals the phone from Andrew who tells her he wants her in the Oval Office with him.
9. Olivia tells Ian that he is only a pawn and strikes a deal. He can sell her to the highest bidder, so they can use her as the president’s “puppet.”
10. Last we see of Olivia, she’s on a plane with Ian who calls the President and tells him his plan, saying he is more than welcome to become a bidder.
How To Get Away With Murder
1. Sam’s sister, Hannah, is in town snooping around and distrusting Annalise.
2. A lady comes to Annalise saying her husband is holding two girls captive, and she wants to turn him in like Annalise did.
3. Annalise takes the case for “some fun”.
4. Asher starts disrespecting Bonnie and threatens a sexual harassment charge.
5. Sam’s sister follows Annalise when she goes to visit her boyfriend.
6. Wes has constant nightmares since the murder.
7. Laurel suffered and awkward Christmas dinner, but seems cocky now.
8. Oliver tells Connor he loves him.
9. The lady turns out to have hidden a daughter and been all around crazy… forcing Annalise to step down from being her lawyer and lie about getting her what she wanted.
10. Rebecca and Wes watch the news that says Sam’s body has been discovered.
As always, all three shows left us with more questions than answers. What is happening with baby Avery? Will the president outbid to buy back Olivia? What does the discovery of Sam’s body mean for his accidental murderers? We’ll just have to wait for next week and hope Shonda and Pete let us in on it all!
