‘The Rosie Show’s’ First Guest Is …

Russell Brand has been announced as the first-ever guest on The Rosie Show, a new talk show premiering next month on OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network.

It’s not just because he was available, either: Rosie O’Donnell, host of The Rosie Show (in case there was anyone out there who thought it was a show about robot maid from The Jetsons) is a longtime admirer of his work.

The weekday series, which marks the return of O’Donnell to the talk-show circuit for the first time since the View debacle in 2007, premieres Monday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m.
