Vanity Fair has published the first publicity photos taken on the set of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by famed lenswoman Annie Leibovitz. They are accompanied by an article in which the accuracy of the set and costume designs is praised by the book’s author, J.K. Rowling. “I’ve been watching it in my head for nine years now — and finally I’ll get to see it along with everybody else,” she told Vanity Fair. “Obviously there are some things that don’t work on screen, but I didn’t want the plot to change very much at all,” she said. “The crucial thing is that the characters won’t be led off in any inappropriate directions.”
