Willis to be a no-show at London film fest

Citing unspecified “family reasons,” Bruce Willis has informed the London Film Festival that he will not be able to attend this year as scheduled. He had been scheduled to attend the British premiere of this latest film, Bandits, on Nov. 15 and to participate in a discussion of it, sponsored by Britain’s Guardian newspaper, the following day. Last week, Martin Sheen, who had also be scheduled to attend the festival, also withdraw, citing his tight production schedule on The West Wing. The festival is scheduled to open on Nov. 7.
