Aimster sues recording industry

Napster’s clone Aimster is suing the Recording Industry Association of America, seeking a “declamatory judgement” that protection of user’s privacy is not copyright infringement. According to Aimster CEO Johnny Deep, less that 1 percent of the song-swap service’s users trade copyrighted material. “We want the court to say we’re not doing anything wrong.” Deep told USA Today.
