Guess Dana Carvey‘s anatomy isn’t so “unsual,” after all. On Friday, the ex-“Saturday Night Live” comic settled his $7.5 million claim against the San Francisco doctor who botched his 1998 heart bypass by operating on the wrong artery.
Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed, but it sounds as if Carvey, 44, pocketed something. His camp said he planned to donate the settlement money to charity. Additionally, Carvey‘s attorney termed his client “very satisfied” with the deal.
Carvey‘s 1999 lawsuit came to light May 19 when it reached the trial stage and the funnyman took the stand. The under-fire doctor had claimed he made an honest mistake — that it wasn’t his fault that Carvey had an “unusual anatomy.”
