Julianna Margulies exits “ER” tonight. And if you don’t want to know how or why, THEN DON’T READ THE REST OF THIS STORY. We’re warning you.
Warning you again.
Everybody who doesn’t want to know gone?
Good.
OK: According to reports, Margulies‘ good Nurse Hathaway character will exit the Chicago medical center en route for Seattle and her flame, Dr. Ross. As in the Dr. Ross once played by George Clooney. As in the George Clooney who, according to same reports, will appear on tonight’s Very Special Episode.
Clooney left the top-rated NBC drama in February 1999, going on to star in forever rumors that he would someday, somehow return to the series in guest form. Margulies announced her own departure last November, turning down a reported $27 million to stay with the series.
