The guest house on Al Pacino‘s Rockland County estate in N.Y. was damaged by an early morning fire on Friday, Canada’s National Post reports.
The fire was reported at 4:25 a.m., and all the occupants had evacuated the guesthouse by the time police and firefighters arrived.
Pacino was in the main house and was alerted as the fire trucks arrived.

The Post cites Det.-Sgt. Terry Hutmacher of the Orangetown police as saying the fire appeared to have started accidentally in the second-floor bedroom of the guesthouse, resulting in heavy smoke and water damage.
Pacino‘s property overlooks the Hudson River, just north of New York’s border with New Jersey.
