“Friends” beats “Survivor” again

Once again, Friends
handily beat Survivor Thursday night, despite a story twist in
the reality series that no doubt made for much water-cooler discussions
this morning.

Friends pulled a 15.2/23 in the first half
of the 8:00 p.m. hour versus an 11.1/17 for Survivor. In the
second half hour, a Will & Grace repeat drew a 13.1/19 while
Survivor rose to a 12.7/19. CBS took the 9:00 p.m. hour with
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation drawing a 15.0/22, but NBC came
roaring back at 10:00 with E.R., drawing the top numbers for the
night, a 17.5/29.
