Jim Carrey may be breaking box office records with his “Grinch“-y performance, but the superstar hasn’t forgotten to spread the joy around.
The latest issue of People magazine showcases Carrey’s generosity, reporting that the elastic actor is one truly nice boss, as his Christmas gift to his team of personal managers and agents was their very own brand new Porsche Carrera. In addition, Carrey gave his personal assistant, publicist and lawyer the gifts of luxurious vacations, valued nearly as much as the Porsches.
Carrey, 41, isn’t going to be hurting too much in the wallet, though. The $20 million-per-picture man’s latest film, the Ron Howard directed “Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” has now grossed more than $330 million worldwide, was the No. 1 film in the United States in 2000, and is currently ranked the 13th biggest film of all time. It’s estimated that Carrey will take home 17% of the film’s take, or about $55 million.
