Kelly Osbourne, who recently appeared on Top of the Pops to promote her new single “Papa Don’t Preach,” is denying rumors of diva-like behavior.
The 17-year-old was reported to have insisted on six dressing rooms when she visited the Top of the Pops studios, according to Ananova.com.
Osbourne, however, said the reports are untrue.
“There aren’t even that many dressing rooms at Top of the Pops, as far as I could see. I only had one dressing room, and I could touch both walls at the same time.”
Osbourne also nixed the report that she demanded six liters of cola and 12 white towels in each room.
“I don’t drink cola,” Osbourne told Ananova.com. “I only have bitter lemon and water. And what the f**k would I need a towel for? I only did one song.”
A spokeswoman for Osbourne added, “Kelly would never behave like a diva. Appearing on Top of the Pops was a dream come true for her, and she loved doing it.”
On a live Web chat from the Top of the Pops studios, Osbourne also said she had not been acting as manager for her father, heavy metal rocker Ozzy Osbourne, while her mother, Sharon, was receiving chemotherapy treatments.
“No. My mum’s been managing my dad through the whole thing,” she said. “She’s not that sick.”
