Continuing to do her part in strengthening the role of women in society, Darva Conger, who wed a total stranger on national TV in the name of (reputed) multi-millions, has now exposed herself to the nation’s magazine readers in the name of a big, fat check. Playboy honcho Christie Hefner (Hugh’s daughter) today confirmed the long-rumored Darva spread in the famed girlie mag. No word on how much Darva got paid or when the photos — the “beautiful” photos, in Ms. Hefner’s view — will be published.
“Darva is meeting with Hef right now to work out a schedule for promoting the issue,” Christie Hefner told Playboy shareholders at the company’s annual meeting in New York.
So, how cool is that? No, not the Darva-poses-nude thing. The fact that even Hef’s own daughter calls him, “Hef.”
Anyway, back to Darva: For those who have yet to forget, she wed one Rick Rockwell for the purposes of the Fox TV-special, “Who Wants to Marry a Multi-millionaire,” last February. The sexless union was annulled shortly thereafter.
