Next on “Montel”: Newly single talk-show hosts. TV talker Montel Williams, 43, announced today that he has split with his wife of seven years.
“After going in separate directions for quite some time, Grace and I have decided to end our seven-year marriage,” Williams said in a statement.
The Williams camp said the couple split in November — about the same time they were featured in a touching People magazine cover article about how their love was helping him cope with multiple sclerosis.
Williams and his wife have two children.
WHO CARES: Surviving members of formerly important rock band the Who (Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend and John Enstwhile) will launch their U.S. summer tour June 25 in Chicago, it has been announced.

“LIFE” DEATH: Russell Crowe‘s double for the upcoming romantic-drama “Proof of Life” was killed in a one-car auto crash Sunday in Ecuador. Five other crew members were injured in the accident that occurred when the pickup they were riding in rolled 450 feet down a mountain.
