Oprah Winfrey‘s Harpo Prods. and Paramount Domestic TV will co-produce a television talk show hosted by Dr. Phil McGraw, Variety reports. Dr. Phil will be available for the fall 2002 line-up. Though neither company would comment on distribution, one source told Reuters that there is a clause in Harpo’s Dr. Phil contract that prevents a TV station from airing the show directly opposite Oprah. McGraw currently appears on the Oprah show every Tuesday to dispense relationship advice.
