Osmond’s “Pyramid” receives new deal

A new version of the game show Pyramid, to be hosted by Donny Osmond, has landed its first station deal with KRON San Francisco on Monday, Reuters reported.

Columbia TriStar TV Distribution is not naming the show The $25,000 Pyramid because the top prize has still to be determined. The show is set to start on fall 2002 and will run twice a day. A Columbia TriStar spokeswoman told Reuters that because the show will be syndicated, other markets in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago could also require clearances before it can be considered a project. New station deals will be announced soon.
