What’s that, you say? Haven’t seen a good mob movie in, oh, about five minutes. Wondering when Hollywood’s gonna make a new one? Wonder no more. Trade paper reports today say Mark Wahlberg is in talks to play — yea! — a mob moss in “Criminal Conversation,” to be produced by and co-star Tom Cruise.
Proving Cruise doesn’t believe in jinxes or curses or bad chemistry, the word is that “Eyes Wide Shut” co-star (and wife) Nicole Kidman also will sign up for “Criminal Conversation,” as the object of Wahlberg‘s affections.
