Studio denies report that “Potter” star had voice double

Warner Bros. has denied a London tabloid report that the voice of Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe had been dubbed in two scenes of the film because Radcliffe‘s voice had cracked in the original takes. The London Sun report said that 13-year-old Joe Sowerbutts had received $300,000 for the “looping” work. Warner’s acknowledged that Sowerbutts had done some voice work for the film but none of it for Radcliffe.
