“Survivor” hits the South Pacific

Just when you thought it was safe to watch TV again… Survivor: Africa may have ended last night (or maybe not, there’s an encore presentation next Thursday night) with Ethan Zohn taking the $1 million prize, but that’s not the end of CBS’ hit reality show.

Survivor: Marquesas, the fourth installment, is coming to a small screen near you starting Feb. 28. The contestants will brave the elements on the mystical island of Nuku Hiva, a distant neighbor of Tahiti in the South Pacific, all in the name of bald-faced greed.

The realities of life, though, will force CBS to bump Survivor: Marquesas from its normal Thursday night slot on March 14 and March 21, due to the men’s NCAA basketball tournament. Apparently, March Madness is more compelling than island insanity.
