Uma Thurman’s bouncing baby boy

Uma Thurman and husband Ethan Hawke had their second child on Tuesday morning in New York. The baby boy weighed in at 7 pounds, 15 ounces.

The couple, who has been together almost four years, already has a three-year-old daughter, Maya Ray.

Before the birth of their daughter in 1998, Thurman and Hawke bought a $1.25 million four-bedroom brownstone 30 minutes north of New York City. They also have a Greenwich Village apartment that is on the market for a reported $3.6 million.

Sopranos actor James Gandolfini had actually agreed to buy the couple’s home in the trendy New York neighborhood, dropping a $260,000 deposit. But when he was denied permission to renovate last October, the actor pulled his deposit, claiming Thurman and Hawke did not provide the proper paperwork required for renovating the property.

Thurman and Hawke disagreed and served Gandolfini with a lawsuit.

In the mean time, Thurman is expected to return to work with Pulp Fiction director Quentin Tarantino on his next movie, the black comedy Kill Bill. Tarantino wrote the lead role with Thurman in mind, but put off production on the film until the actress delivered.

In the film, Thurman stars as a prostitute who after being shot by her pimp, ends up in a coma for nine years. She wakes up pissed off and looking for revenge.
