Pierce Brosnan’s fairytale wedding in an Irish castle is off. At least for now. The 007 star today confirmed that he will not marry longtime girlfriend Keely Shaye-Smith next weekend due to his 16-year-old son’s continued health crisis.
Sean Brosnan was seriously injured in a car crash in Malibu, Calif., last month. In a statement, Brosnan’s camp said Sean was recently readmitted to the hospital for complications.
“The couple has delayed the wedding until Sean has made a full recovery,” his office said.

Sean is Brosnan’s son by his late, first wife Cassandra Harris. Brosnan and Shaye-Smith have one infant child of their own.
