Life of Pi, the captivating Tony-winning play based on Yann Martel’s best-selling novel, has officially bid farewell to Broadway. The West End transfer had previously been scheduled to play through September 3 but after a successful run at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, the production closed its curtains on July 23. Throughout its Broadway journey, the play delighted audiences with its imaginative storytelling and visually stunning performances.

Life of Pi on Broadway: A Captivating Tale of Survival and Triumph
The play, adapted by Lolita Chakrabarti and directed by Max Webster, opened on March 30 of this year, after previewing on March 9. His only companions are a Bengal tiger, a hyena, a zebra, and an orangutan, and together they must navigate the treacherous waters after a cargo shipwreck leaves them adrift.
Life of Pi earned five Tony Award nominations and emerged victorious in three categories at the 2023 ceremony, securing wins for Best Scenic Design, Best Lighting Design, and Best Sound Design. further cementing its status as a must-see theatrical masterpiece.
Life on Pi 2024 North American Tour
